Astronaut
Dr. Mae Jemison is the first African American woman astronaut to travel in space. She served as a mission specialist aboard the Space Shuttle Endeavour.
She is currently leading the 100 Year Starship project that works to make sure human space travel to another star in space is possible in the next 100 years!
